With the support of Federal Mediators, Canada Post and CUPW (Union) continued discussions through the weekend.

On Sunday evening, after a statement issued by the Federal Minister responsible for Canada Post, that indicated that there were sings of progress, Canada Post withdrew their 72-hour notice.  As such, there will be no lockout or other disruption to Canada Post operations today.  We are essentially back in the pre 72-hour notice period which means no action can be taken until one of the parties provides 72-hour notice.
